As of September 1, 2017 the Institute for Church Leadership has officially launched.
ICL supports pastors in the work of the training future leaders in their local congregation. The curriculum provides a way for members of local church leadership teams to be aligned in sound theology and a biblical philosophy of ministry.
That’s the heart behind this program: faithfully imparting to the next generation the truth about who Christ is, his word, his gospel, so that they will be able to teach others also.
– Dr. Nathan Busenitz, Dean of Faculty
The 10 week courses cover the topics of godly character, bible knowledge, sound doctrine, and shepherding care. Each session consists of video, comprehension questions, reflection/discussion questions, and recommended reading material.
Three out of 25 courses are now available:
- How to Interpret the Bible with Dr. Abner Chou
- Practical Shepherding with Pastor Harry Walls
- The Reformation with Dr. Nathan Busenitz
We look forward to partnering with local pastors in the training of their leadership for the sake of the gospel.
