The Lord, in His kindness, has opened a door for qualified men from all over the world to receive our specialized theological training while staying rooted in their local churches.
Now the Th.M. program in New Testament, Old Testament, and Theology can be accomplished mainly from home––students are only expected at the Los Angeles campus for one or two weeks per term. Conveniently, on-campus time is scheduled during the winter (usually one week in December) and in the summer (up to two weeks in May or June).
These three modular disciplines (NT, OT, TH) run for 20 weeks per term, with a six-week break for holidays. The bulk of instruction from home mainly involves video conferencing with the professor and pre- and post-course assignments.
Our residential Th.M. program is still in effect, following the traditional Fall/Spring semester calendar on the Los Angeles campus. In fact, the Th.M. in Bible Exposition is only available in the residential Fall/Spring semester format. Students in the NT, OT, or TH disciplines will find a certain number of residential course offerings and may combine residential and modular courses to complete the degree in a two-year time frame.
The next modular Th.M. session is right around the corner! Pre-course work starts mid-October, and on-campus courses run from December 11–15, 2017.
If you want to be a modular Th.M. student, what should you do?
Potential students desiring to be part of this upcoming set of courses should submit their application portfolio by October 15.
