During this year’s Winterim Session, Dr. Thomas Schreiner will be teaching a course on Biblical Theology.
This course will examine the theology of the entire Bible from the standpoint of Biblical Theology. We will consider the storyline of Scripture and try to discern the main themes that advance the kingdom of God.
It will enable students to produce compelling material that could be used in a pulpit ministry or writing ministry in order to help laypeople to better understand the message of Scripture & identify its major theological themes.
Dr. Thomas Schreiner joined the faculty at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1997 after serving 11 years on the faculty at Bethel Theological Seminary. Dr. Schreiner is a Pauline scholar and the author and editor of several books including, Romans, in the Baker Exegetical Commentary Series on the New Testament; Interpreting the Pauline Epistles; The Law and Its Fulfillment: A Pauline Theology of Law; The Race Set Before Us: A Biblical Theology of Perseverance and Assurance; Still Sovereign: Contemporary Perspectives of Election, Foreknowledge, and Grace, co-edited with Bruce A.
