Counseling the Fainthearted

Jesus Christ is the Great Shepherd and Wonderful Counselor. As part of His ministry He came to heal the broken-hearted. Likewise, those who are His shepherds are to minister to the fainthearted. This involves faithful pulpit preaching and one-on-one interaction with those suffering from the effects of a fallen world.

John Street Dr. Street currently serves as the Chair of the Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling and Professor of Biblical Counseling at The Master’s College. He has given more than 25 years to academic and pastoral ministry. He was the founding pastor of Clearcreek Chapel in Springboro, Ohio, and has taught at both Cedarville and Cornerstone Universities. Dr. Street is a regular contributor to The Biblical Counselor and The Journal of Biblical Counseling and is an editor of The Journal of Modern Ministry. He authored chapters to the books Think Biblically and An Introduction to Biblical Counseling and is a Fellow and board member of the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC).
