Every pastor has a sacred duty to raise up the next generation of spiritual leaders in the church. The Institute for Church Leadership supports pastors in the work of the training future leaders in their local congregation. The curriculum provides a way for members of local church leadership teams to be aligned in terms of both sound theology and a biblical philosophy of ministry. Program Overview 1. A pastor identifies key members in his church whom he desires to mentor and train up as future elders and spiritual leaders. 2. He comes to this website and selects a 10-week course that he and his team would like to study. Each of them then sign up for that course through the website. 3. The course content from TMS is delivered to them in an online format that includes video lectures, class notes, reading assignments, and quizzes and tests. Each student is able to access the course content on their own. 4. The pastor meets each week with his team to discuss all that they are learning from the course. A leader’s guide that includes discussion questions is provided by the seminary as part of the curriculum package.
