Dr. Scott Ardavanis Associate Dean

Scott Ardavanis is the Senior Pastor of Grace Church of the Valley in central California. Scott began his pastoral ministry at Grace Community Church with John MacArthur and also spent seventeen years as a senior pastor in Chicago and California. He is an adjunct professor at The Master’s College and The Master’s Seminary in the area of Pastoral Ministry and Homiletics. Scott is a featured speaker at Bible and Pastors Conferences around the world. He also serves as a board member for Sufficiency of Scripture Ministries (SOS), which impacts lives in Uganda through humanitarian aid and sound Biblical teaching. Scott has earned his degrees at Los Angeles Baptist College (now The Master’s College), B.A., The Master’s Seminary, M.Div., and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, D.Min. Scott and his wife, Patty, have now been married 25 years and are the parents of 7 children.

Master of Divinity

The M.Div. also provides a basis for further graduate study leading to such degrees as Master of Theology (Th.M.), Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).

Entrance Requirements

Acceptance to the Master of Divinity program requires a continued standard of character in accordance with
1 Tim 3:1-7– a life of Christian testimony and faithful service to the local church. Applicants to the Master of Divinity program must possess a Baccalaureate degree with a GPA of 2.5 or above. Those with lower GPAs may be considered for probationary admission status.

Alternative Programs

For those who do not meet the Master of Divinity entrance requirements, the same pastoral ministry training is available through the Bachelor of Theology and the Diploma of Theology programs.
