The King Who Can Cleanse

Leprosy was not only seen as a dangerous contagion but as a sign of the curse of God. That is why Jesus’ healing of the leper is so important. Jesus’ authority is so great that He can cleanse and restore without risk of being defiled. He can bring about a saving work that restores someone to himself and the family of God.
Journaling: The Art of Prayerful Meditation

You don’t have to journal. It’s not a biblical command. But, you do need to develop a way to prayerfully meditate on Scripture. Meditation on Scripture is fundamental to fruitfulness in our life with God. Many believers, myself included, find journaling a worthwhile avenue for prayerful meditation.
Becoming a Praying Church

Our church is taking steps to becoming a praying church. A praying church is one where private prayer, gathered prayer, and spontaneous prayer are noticeable priorities. For us, disciplined and strategic use of time in prayer fuels the spontaneous and continuous prayer of which Paul writes “pray without ceasing.”
