Chris serves as the Director of Shepherds’ Conference and as the UCLA Grace on Campus shepherd for Grace Community Church. As the Director of the Shepherds’ Conference, Chris oversees Grace Church’s annual conference designed to equip and minister to pastors and church leaders. As the shepherd of Grace on Campus, he preaches to and disciples college students and equips them to reach the UCLA campus for Christ. Chris has earned his M.Div. and Th.M. degrees and is currently working toward a D.Min. in Expository Preaching at The Master’s Seminary. He has been married to his wife Linda since 2011, and they have two sons, Nathaniel and Jordan.

In recent years, the concept of Hell has come under fire. Hell is seen as an antiquated tactic used by preachers of yesteryear to frighten people into making professions of faith. Passages on Hell are being reinterpreted to make them less offensive. But Scripture teaches that Hell couldn’t be more real and gives great detail about the horrors of this habitat of certain torment.

Paul’s example speaks loud and clear. Give your life away to “the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.” If Jesus thought the church was precious enough to die for, should we not think her precious enough to live for?
