Though she grew up in the state of Washington, Beth met her husband Nathan here at The Master's College. They married in 2001 and have four children, two girls and two boys. Nathan teaches in the theology department at TMS (with a focus on church history), and also serves on the pastoral staff of Grace Community Church. Before joining the seminary as a full-time instructor, Nathan worked as the personal assistant to John MacArthur. He is an elder at Grace, and both he and Beth are part of the Cornerstone Fellowship group. Beth was a music major in college, and she still enjoys piano performance and pedagogy, though her primary focus now is on her home and family. As a mom herself, Beth loves to fellowship with other wives and moms--encouraging them to love their husbands and their children in a way that honors the Lord. Two verses that have been particularly meaningful to her are Galatians 6:9-10: "Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith."
