Office of the President The president’s office of The Master’s Seminary is responsible for setting its vision and mandate for training, discipleship, and academics, for guiding faculty and administration, and ensuring an unwavering commitment to founding principles and doctrine. John MacArthur has led the seminary as president since its inception in 1986. Over that time he has continued to pastor Grace Community Church, preaching multiple times weekly. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, he teaches Expository Preaching classes and frequently speaks in chapel. Over the past year, Dr. MacArthur has led the seminary in preparation for the 2015 Summit on Inerrancy, an event drawing over 4,500 pastors from across the globe, standing together for the authority of the Word of God. TMS students, faculty, and alumni today have a historic opportunity to serve the worldwide church as a result of the conference. This is one of the many ways in which leadership at The Master’s Seminary is committed to exalting Christ and honoring His Word.
