Her special verses are; Psalm 73:23-28 " Nevertheless, I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand. With Your counsel You will guide me, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And besides You, I desire nothing on earth. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. For, behold, those who are far from You will perish; You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful to You. But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works."

Amy White

Amy White is serving as a co-leader for the first time this year after years of being a SemWife herself. Her husband Matt is working on his MDiv at the present time and also serves as Children’s Pastor at Grace Community Church. The Whites married in 1995 and have three children and Amy is now in the seventh year of homeschooling. I have found that for myself it is a time centered around the truth of God’s Word whether through the small group/table time or through the corporate speaker, and it has been encouraging and convicting at times and spurs me on in my own walk with the Lord. And of course, the friendships are priceless!”

Amy has served in church playing the piano, and also now helps her husband as needed in the busy Children’s ministry at GCC. They have also been involved in pre-marital counseling. Her main ministry, though, is her home—her husband and children. She enjoys cooking and baking and all things related; enjoys reading and playing the piano, musicals, and road trips.
