In October of 2009, the Mid-Atlantic Bible Fellowship held an Equipping the Saints Conference on “The 5 Solas of the Reformation.” This year's conference “Our Glorious God: Beholding the Majesty of God in Church and Personal Devotion” will be May 1 in Columbia, Maryland.
Three of the four keynote speakers are graduates of The Master's Seminary: Dr. Mike Abendroth (M.Div. 96), of Bible Bethlehem Church in West Boylston, Massachusetts, Steve Sherman (M.Div.05), of Christian Fellowship Church in North Brunswick, New Hampshire, and Tom Leake (M.Div.97), of Hope Bible Church in Columbia, Maryland. Also speaking will be former TMS student Michael Nevarr, of Providence Bible Fellowship in Reston, Virginia.
The purpose of the conference is to equip congregation leaders and lay-leaders in theological topics that develop healthy churches and healthy Christian lives. Given the proximity of the church and registration cost of only $10, this is an ideal conference for a group to enjoy a time of fellowship and strengthening.
