 2007 TMS Alum Jay Underwood is the current pastor at First Baptist Church in Weaverville, California. Prior to becoming a pastor, he made his living as an actor for more than 20 years in Hollywood doing movies and television. Though ministering full-time, Jay recently co-starred in a new Christian film called “No Greater Love.” The movie’s broad theme is about love, forgiveness, and redemption, centering on a couple who seemed like they had the picture-perfect marriage until having their first child. The wife disappears only to re-appear 10 years later to discover that her husband, whom she assumed had divorced her, is getting ready to marry someone else. "No Greater Love" is similar in style to the recent movie, “Fireproof” with Kirk Cameron.
