Our guest speaker will be author and pastor, Dr. R. Kent Hughes.

Author of many works including Disciplines of a Godly Man, Set Apart : Calling a Worldly Church to a Godly Life, Contributions to works with John MacArthur, R.C Sproul, and D.A. Carson, and the acclaimed Preaching the Word biblical commentary series.

Dr. Hughes forty-one years of ministry include ten years as a youth pastor, five years as a church planter, and twenty seven years as senior pastor of College Church in Wheaton, IL. He retired from his pulpit ministry at College Church and was given the title Senior Pastor Emeritus in December 2006.




Dr. Hughes continues to be involved in training pastors biblical exposition and preaching and various books and writing projects.

He and his wife, Barbara, are the parents of four children and twenty-three grandchildren.
