TMS Regional Banquets, Fall 2011

Monday, October 10, Dallas, Texas
Wednesday, October 12, San Antonio, Texas
Friday, October 14, Houston, Texas

With now more than 1200 alumni scattered around the world -

  1. How can we best serve and encourage them?
  2. How can we nurture a personal relationship with like-minded people who partner with us in training men for biblical ministry?
  3. How can we best explain who we are to those prospective students who are wondering, "Should I attend seminary at TMS?"

These reasons and hundreds more surfaced between TMS Development and Admissions staff back in 2003. This led to the birth of what is known today as TMS Alumni Regional Banquets. Since then we have hosted banquets in Boston, Chicago, Greensboro, Philadelphia, Omaha, Tulsa, Colorado Springs, Nashville, Atlanta, Washington D.C., New York, Jupiter, and Tampa, Florida. Last year, we visited Seattle, Portland and San Francisco. We have encouraged and been encouraged by more than 1200 alumni and friends of the seminary, and have watched as dozens of men have said yes and attended classes at TMS.

He spent his last four years there as Senior Associate Pastor and personal assistant to John MacArthur. During the eight years before that, he served as Managing Director of Grace to You.
